Alloy engine cases and fork legs polish up well. The finish is as shiny as chrome but will not fall off like chrome on alloy can. These parts are 'bare' as I do not recommend lacquering polished alloy. Lacquer needs a 'key' to grip to which shiny polished alloy does not allow, so again after time it would fall off.
