 |  | Tank Dents. | | Tanks can be a costly item to replace, with scratches and even small dents seriously affecting your bikes looks and value. Light damage can usually be spot repaired for a small fraction of the cost of a new tank. The varied shapes and contours in a modern tank inherently add to its strength so pulling or blowing a dent out is not normally an option. All paint is therefore removed from the damaged area, the bare metal is prepared and the dent is filled back to it’s original shape. The repair is then primed, smoothed and colour matched. |
